How is that possible?

Trade the carb-load-stuffed feeling from eating traditional pasta that is made with flour, butter, salt, etc. and switch it out with Veggie Pasta using zucchini!

Veggie Pasta 3 steps

There are several ways you can shape the zucchini into pasta. Most common, is using the “spiralizer” tool that comes with various blades to turn it into spaghetti or macaroni style.

I use the Veggetti tool pictured above.  This is a much simpler tool, less than $15 (link below), that is handheld versus one that would sit on your counter.  Preference is totally up to you, but if you are just venturing into the veggie-pasta-making-world, you can’t go wrong with this one.

In 3 easy steps, you can have lunch or dinner ready!

Start by washing the zucchini (of course!), then cut off the ends.  Next, peel off the skin so it is ready to insert into the spiralizer.  All you do is put the zucchini in one end and begin to twist!  You’ll notice it will come out of the side of the tool, so just hold it over the bowl. After you do this, it is ready to boil! Now, I have had it raw, straight out of the bowl, but if you are looking to make some sort of dish, or spaghetti, you’ll then want to boil it.  This just takes about 10-15 minutes on the stove-top, then strain, then add your topping and your pasta is ready!

There are tons of sauces or toppings you can add to it, just like you would add spaghetti sauce, alfredo, olive oil with lemon juice, garlic and basil, the list goes on. Honestly, you won’t even notice a difference!  It has the same texture and taste.
