How Are You Feeling?

 

 

When you think about your overall health, how do you feel?  I mean, really examine, how do you feel?

Do you feel fatigued, irritable, down, and low in energy most of the time or would you say you pretty much have things under control and are “level” each day?

How is your stress?  Are you dealing with underlying issues or subconscious thoughts that are actually causing you anxiety, fear, insomnia?

Cravings?  Got a sweet tooth?  Need that mid-afternoon snack to curb your energy level?

Now, did you know that our gut is the number one place to go to uncover health issues?  I know the term “gut” is ugly and we immediately think about googly insides(!), oh but there is so much beauty to how it operates as a whole in order to keep us healthy!  I am so fascinated by it, how about you?

How about this, did you know that we are 90% bacteria and 10% human? Woah, crazy town!  

Since our guts are the place to balance bacteria, that explains why probiotics and fermented foods (kimchi, miso, sauerkraut, kombucha etc.) are essential.   When your gut is imbalanced, your overall health is impaired. 

When we think about our overall health and start to become aware of how we truly feel, we may be surprised when we start to concentrate on our digestion.    You may start to realize that maybe you do experience symptoms/signs you have always thought were normal.  Or perhaps you haven’t been feeling 100% and can’t quite put your finger on it.   For example,

……..Things that affect our gut health

Stress, Lack of Sleep, Brain Fog, Depression, Asthma, Skin/Rashes

Additionally, many autoimmune diseases like Hashimoto’s are directly linked to the health of your gut.  It’s important to not only dig deep to heal and repair, it’s also important to remedy and restore the health of the internal organs.
