The Surprising Connection Between Faith and Health 

How does spirituality link to your health?

You think of your health as eating well, getting sleep, trying to escape stress, and getting the daily dose of exercise, but what about spirituality?  

Well, what if I said that spirituality was an entire department (think like the many different departments at Macy's!) ... and that this spirituality department is directly related to the level of your health ... and spirituality should be explored way before you considered your physical health, what would you think?


Spiritual Wellness is in itself more important than the foods you eat, calories you burn, or the diet you follow.

 In order to be in the 'best shape of your life', true healthy living comes from the foundation that you are rooted IN.  Because what you are rooted IN determines your outlook, perspective, and personal growth.

When you put your faith into your health, fear takes a back seat!

More than we realize it, fear holds us hostage in many ways, shapes, and forms and it sneaks into our minds, our health, and our faith 

FEAR cripples our decision making abilities causing a foggy brain, causing limited thinking because all we see is the problem with no possible way to get to the solution, and makes it look like there's no hope because the goal seems too far away and impossible. Fear keeps us stuck and makes the struggle appear to be permanent rather than seeing this thing as being changed.

FAITH gives hope, reason, light, direction, vision, possibilities, and comes in ordered steps.

Can you see the difference?!  How clearly faith provides the outcome we are looking for but why is it that we let fear lead?

 Well, it's because without your faith leading, the fear looks like reality.  Right?

FAITH according to God's Word in Hebrews 11:1 says, "NOW Faith, is being SURE of what we HOPE for and CERTAIN of what we do not SEE.

God designed our Mind plus Body plus Soul to operate in sync.  What often happens is when we are out of balance, one area overcompensates for the other(s).  This starts the cycle we call the downward spiral!
